Archive program cause high CPU

Description
Problem:
The archive program will copy the record to a new table and then delete the record from old table. This caused high processing in the Report server.
Solution:
Due to bank already have the backup of daily data, archive is not necessary. Confirmed by BI. Therefore, will enhance our program to only perform delete the record. The program will delete yesterday record by batches execution.
Action:
To direct delete record using db query
