Description

Hi,
Kindly attend below request:-

Agrobank has received complained from our merchant claimed that their customer mainly from CIMB using OCTO Apps failed the DuitNow QR transaction. Based on investigation, the rejection as below:

Rejection code: 46
Description: DECODE_VALUE_TOO_SHORT

we have simulated the issue by comparing the QR string and found that the issue caused by symbol + for mobile number in the string. Since the mobile number value is optional, we request to remove from our QR string to fix the issue.

we noted this fixes will only applicable to newly generated QR.

Request changes:
To exclude the mobile number from the QR String. This mobile number is the optional data in the Paynet QR string requirement.

Reason of changes:
The objective of removing this mobile number is to resolve the issue where Customer's CIMB that use the OCTO App to scan the AGROBank Merchant QR receive error.
The error due to the OCTO App program has removed the plus sign from AGROBank QR string. This has caused the QR checksum value not valid.

Already tested this solution at production environment yesterday with Puan Ilah and En. Adzlan. The result, able to scan the AGROBank QR from the OCTO APP and others Bank App successfully.
