Description

Taylor's recently found a case whereby when they click on the document uploaded in a Microsite it throws “Broadvision application error”.
Taylor's found out that it is due to the person that uploaded the document has left and the account was deleted from BV.
The uploaded document “Owner” field is tied to the person who has already left.
The system logs did not have any error captured in them when the error is thrown.

After Taylor's manually change back the OWNER to another existing microsite owner at the database table BV_CS_MDOC by finding the affected document which is tied to the previous owner and change it to a new owner, the document is now accessible.

So Taylor's want to know why is BV behaving this way ? It should still allow microsite participant to access the uploaded file even though the “Owner” that uploaded the document has left.
Or rather BV should be prompting a more meaningful message like Owner does not exist. At least they would know that it is due to owner issue.
In any case Taylor's have people that uploaded the document in the microsite leave, they will face this same issue again.
