User reported issue below:
We notice that our SMS log was replaced daily. No log file recorded for the previous date. Last saved file was on 24/04/2014. Refer attachment for reference.

Currently, SMS log able to generate new log daily without replace previous one.
Action taken:
- Stop/End all instances of current task (SMS) in Task Scheduler.
- Create new task (SMS) in Task Scheduler.
- Run newly created task in Task Scheduler.

What is the root cause and how you resolve it?

I believe the root cause is old SMS task. but I cannot say for sure what cause the task to misbehave the logging part.
Though, I can think of some possibility:
- System cache was quite a mess as multiple instances of same task running concurrently.
- Task credential was changed that cause it was not authorized to rename current log file and create new log.
This issue resolved by create and run new SMS task.

Please follow up with customer to ensure the problem is resolved and close this case by July 4th before 3pm.
