Kindly attend below request:
Please be informed that since the implementation of GST for IB on 17.04.2015, we encountered difficulty in our daily report recon as there were additional transactions were not reflected in the BVMC Internet Transaction Report and the total (volume & value) reflected were also incorrect in the BVMC Consolidated Transaction Report. Sample given was based on report dated 27.04.2015: - In IBFT Transaction Report: Found additional 15 transactions (successful & unsuccessful) were not reflected in the Internet Transaction Report - In Interbank Funds Transfer Report: Found additional 12 transactions (successful & unsuccessful) were not reflected in the Internet Transaction Report - In Consolidated Trx Report: Incorrect total (volume & value) for Intrabank & IBG transactions. Please find attached the issue log and the BVMC reports for your further investigation.

BENE_NAME column too small.
Provide query to change 25 to 64 characters
ALTER TABLE IB_TRANSACTION_HISTORY MODIFY BENE_NAME VARCHAR2;

Hi Kah Yan,
There is no issue for so many years on the bene name for the length of 25. Now, look like front end allowed more than 25 characters but DB table didn't update the same to accept more than 25. Below are the 2 problems I can imagine with your solution:-
1) what is maximum allowable length on the Bene name in the JSP or any other interface or input data?
2) is there any maximum limit on the bene name on IBG and IBFT? If yes, what is the impact to allow more than 25 characters?

IB_INTER_TRANSFER BENEFICIARY_NAME accepts 64 characters
IB_INTRA_TRANSFER BENE_NAME accepts 40 characters
IB_TRANSACTION_HISTORY accepts 25 characters
IB_IBFT_TRANSFER accepts 64 characters
BENE_NAME for IB_TRANSACTION_HISTORY is a new column introduced during GST development.
My suggestion is to accept the maximum length of 64 characters

what is the IBG requirement on the benename length?
How about the max length on the JSP page?

Max length for IBG is 50 in jsp
Max length for FTT is 40 in jsp
Not sure on the IBG requirement of beneName length.
In Payment Reference Enhancement, bene name max length is 20 to send to host. No requirement for store in DB max length.
