Hi,
Kindly attend below request:

Error appears when users perform print pin mailer and print letter, the paper didnt came out from the printer,
and an error message appears on the computer.

The error message:
"error while performing your request, system Is currently unavailable
Please try again later.

Dear all,

Chronology of investigation as per follow:

01/06/2015: Forwarded Wei Kuan for the server.log (Printer is not accepting job.),
01/06/2015: Informed Rhisang via email that we are investigating the issue,
01/06/2015: Wei Kuan answer that the error differs that the error given by BII,

03/06/2015: Suggest BII to: clear printer job que, restart printer spooler service, last is to remove and re-add printers,

04/06/2015: Informed Wei Kuan that printing directly from HSM encounters no issue, attached the full server log,
04/06/2015: Told Rhisang to remove and re-add printer because issue 'printer is not accepting job' still appears,

05/06/2015: IT issue out the ticket to helpdesk to get printer setting from IT-BSD that maintain the RCAS printers.

No resolution yet.

Dear Zahir,

Please inform customer that now printer is able to perform both for printing mailer and letter (attached screenshot refers).

Root cause:
- There is no printer driver connected to print letter,
- There are several printer being added in RCAS Pin Mailer server which impacting the 'printer index' for 'print letter' which changed automatically.

Solution:
- Remove non-used / additional printer drivers that were added,
- Install Xerox printer driver,
- Match the printer index for letter to 0.

How to prevent similar issue happened in future:
- Make sure there is no printer is being added or removed. If there is changes, make sure the printer index is set properly at CASSettingsResources.properties,
- Make sure that there is no 'hanging' printing job in the printer que, this will cause the application to refuse printing,
- If it requires changes at CASSettingsResources.properties, need to restart the glassfish3 service.
