Kindly attend this case

Dear Support,

Our CMS customer cannot approve or reject one of IBG transaction due to "Unknown verifier & approver". Before that, the customer had approved other 4 IBG transactions.

Upon checking, both unknown user are from the other company.

Need your help to investigate on why its show verifier and approver from the other company.

Hi Shahrulnizam

We already found the problem, this issue happened due to get sequence number failed and authorization module retrieve transaction by using formatted transaction id(without date). You may refer to explanation below.:

Failed to retrieve next sequence number from database. 
Based on the log files provided, we found there is error when execute query to get next sequence number, this cause the transaction id become "20170529000000000-". You may refer to error log below. For this kind of situation, we should not allow customer to proceed. We will fix this by throw error when there is any exception in get next sequence number. 

2017/05/29 12:16:38:882 ERROR kfhbib.hibernate.utils.HibernateGenericDBUtils: Error reason: could not execute query was returned during Selection sequence id of BIB_SEQ_TRNX

Authorization module retrieve transaction by using formatted transaction id(without date)
This is the root cause of show unknown verifier and approver on the screen. First, the transaction id of this transaction is "20170529000000000-", current system will retrieve the company transaction based on the formatted transaction id which is "000000000-". But there is few past transactions having the same formatter transaction id.

Current system will pick the old transaction when there are few records. This is why the verifier and approver is get from trnx id "20120228000000000-". We will fix this by retrieve company transaction based on the exact transaction id "20170529000000000-" instead of "000000000-".

We are performing internal testing now, will provide a patch for this fix after test.
