Request message: Can you advise how many more IM and FI we can add to our current BV server in production.

Without proper assessment to your current servers & traffic, it's very difficult to advise how many more of IM and FI that you can add.
Generally, BV recommends to follow the below guidelines when deciding on how many IM & FI to use in a server:
1. 1 cpu can have 4 IM, not recommend to have more than 4 IM per cpu
2. #IM < #FI + #cmdb
3. Recommended heapsize is -xms256
4. Best performance for yield mode is 5 to 10. 6 is better response time
5. Time out of IM must be > db time out
As mention before, it is recommended to engage a BVGS consultant to perform assessment and fine-tune configuration for your servers.
