Description

1. Issue Description
a. If there is no value in Field Participant Name, it will display message in red box. After keyed in value, the message was disappeared but red box still remained

b. If there is no value in Field Participant Description (and other fields), the message will not be displayed immediately, it will be displayed after Clicked Next. However, if no value key in in Field Participant ID & Participant Name, the message will be displayed immediately.

2. Expected Results
a. Remove the red box if value already keyed in.
b. Be consistent.

- Go to PARTICIPANT > Participant Maintenance
- Create Record
- Edit Record

"b. If there is no value in Field Participant Description (and other fields), the message will not be displayed immediately, it will be displayed after Clicked Next. However, if no value key in in Field Participant ID & Participant Name, the message will be displayed immediately.

For this issue, all error message has been standardize to display after click ""Next"" at first attempt. After click ""Next"", at second attempt, if user leave blank/do changes that does not meet requirement at the same field that display error message, the error message will be displayed immidiately.

Retest issue by Erni at 31/05/18:

[Issue 2] Refer below for error message that does not display immidiately after the 2nd attempt changes:

2. Participant Name cannot include special character except space. - Field Participant Name
3. Address is not in proper address format. - Field Address
4. Supervisor Name cannot include numeric and special characters except space ' / - Field Supervisor Name
5. Admin Checker Supervisor Name cannot include numeric and special characters except space ' / -Field Admin Checker Supervisor Name
6. Admin Maker Supervisor Name cannot include numeric and special characters except space @ ' / -Field Admin Maker Supervisor Name

[Issue 3] Error message can be displayed double, refer below step:
1. Enter 'Participant Description' with special character, then click Next > Error msg displyed 'Participant Description cannot include special character except space.'
2. Change 'Participant Description' to blank, then click Next > Error msg displayed 'Participant Description cannot include special character except space.' & 'Participant Description is required.'
*Also happened at Participant Name field"

Hi Erni,

Please refer below.

For issue 2:

1. Below error message still not displayed immediately after the 2nd attempt changes, it only displayed after click on 'Next' button. Also, why is the error message displayed separately (refer attachment 0000987_1.PNG) :
There are 2 validation, front end validation and back end validation. The error message display separately because front end validation and back end validation display together. I have change the logic to always display front end validation first before display back validation. Means, back end validation error message will not show, if front end validation got error message to show.

    2. Supervisor Name cannot include numeric and special characters except space ' /
    3. Admin Checker Supervisor Name cannot include numeric and special characters except space @ ' /

2. Below error message will displayed if enter 'Address' field with special characters (refer attachment 0000987_2.PNG):
This was the back end validation error message, it will been show when no more front end validation error message show.
Address is not in proper address format.
