Root cause:
The merchant category code is empty. As per requirement, this merchant category field should be mandatory.
Solution:
1) Added merchant category code mandatory field checking at IBAM. The checking already exists at BIB.
2) To fix the reported merchant. As per conversation, please update the merchant category code by using the provided SQL query script.
The reason why I suggest to perform update action by using SQL script is because this merchant category code field is not open for the editing process as stated in the requirement.
Please re-generate the QR code after you update the merchant category code.
Please note: The solution no 2 already perform by ITD at production and successful verified it.
