Description

Please attend user query below:

Customer inform so many time try to log in with a valid/ correct password. The login is unsuccessful but the account is not log. Below are the detail : 

Email Address : doreenewe@e-pay.com.my

Role : Viewer

User Status : ACTIVE

Username : doreenewe

Full Name : Ewe Shi Yun

Please get the date and time when this problem happened.
The log file provided are not tally on date.
BIB log is only for Jun 26 but UPASS log is July 1st only log.

Root cause: User password is expired.
Solution: Password expire status set to false, so the password will not expire

So far there are 3 issue related to BIB User cannot login.
Support #4314
Username: sofianputra (Single User)
Error msg: Username or Password or Security Token PIN is invalid
Root cause: Server time and token not sync.

Support #4515
Username: doreewe (Viewer)
Error msg: Username or Password or Security Token PIN is invalid
Root cause: User password is expired.

Support #4090
Username: Faizulazha78 (Approver)
Error msg: Username or Password or Security Token PIN is invalid
Root cause: User password is expired.

Since this error message seem very general and may lead to misunderstanding. We suggest to log actual error reason to IBAM>BIB User Activity Log>Login Activity.

Hi Lizah,
Please simulate the problem, apply the suggestion, conduct internal testing to ensure the proposed solution solve the problem, and then guide customer to do the same one SIT, UAT before apply to PROD.

Hi all,

As per attached is the step to replicate the issue.
  1. Login singleAbdullah
  2. Unable to login
  3. Check on IBAM>BIB>User Activity Log for the last reset password
  4. Check on IBAM>BIB>User Activity Log for the last login
  5. Check on upass log
  6. Check on table TB_AM_CONFIG
Solution:
  1. CA reset the password
  2. singleAbdullah click on Reset Password
  3. Enter username and temp password that provided by CA
  4. Change the tempa password to new password
  5. Successful login using new password

Notes: Send to customer for SIT/UAT.

Below is query to update the flag to set password will not expired.

update TB_AM_USER set P_EXPIRED_STATUS = 1 where P_EXPIRED_STATUS = 0

This issue has been fixed and successfully migrate to Production on 18/07/2014 (Migration ID00014)
